AEW star Queen Aminata recently provided a positive update on her recovery status via her Twitter (X) account during her hiatus.

Aminata wrote, “5 months ago, I could barely walk without pain. Training was impossible. Sleep was miserable. My neck and spine were on fire… but the hardest battle was mental. Today, I’m moving again. Pain-free. Time to rebuild.”

Aminata has been out of action in the ring since last October due to a neck injury. This injury has prevented her from competing in the inaugural Women’s Blood & Guts match. Since then, she has been sharing updates on her recovery through social media vlogs.

Last month, Dave Meltzer reported in his weekly Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Aminata was expected to make her return to the ring soon. However, that has not yet happened.

Aminata’s most recent match took place on the October 29, 2025, episode of Dynamite, where she teamed up with Jamie Hayter to face the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Sky Blue) in the quarterfinals of the Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament. Unfortunately, they lost the match.
