Country music superstar Jelly Roll is reportedly set to appear at this year’s WWE SummerSlam, marking another major crossover between music and wrestling.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, the multi-time Grammy-nominated artist is planned to do “something” at the two-night SummerSlam event, which takes place in East Rutherford, New Jersey this August.
This confirmation follows a prior report from WrestleVotes stating that Jelly Roll’s upcoming appearance on the July 11 edition of SmackDown is intended to be the “start of something more” in his ongoing WWE involvement.
Jelly Roll was in attendance for WrestleMania 41 earlier this year but is best remembered for his impactful cameo at SummerSlam 2024, where he got physical in a segment involving Austin Theory, The Miz, and R-Truth, delivering a memorable chokeslam to Theory.
With his music tour schedule wide open for the first weekend of August, speculation is mounting over how WWE plans to use the star at the “Biggest Party of the Summer.” As of now, the specific details of his appearance remain under wraps.
