Spoiler: Former Women’s Champions To Team At WWE Evolution 2

With WWE Evolution 2 just around the corner, the card for the all-women’s Premium Live Event is quickly coming into focus. Several matches were officially confirmed during the June 30th episode of WWE RAW, including a Women’s World Title clash and a multi-brand tag team title bout. In a spoiler update from Monday’s SmackDown tapings, a major pairing is set to represent the SmackDown brand.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are teaming up to compete in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Evolution 2. The duo will represent SmackDown in what is shaping up to be a blockbuster Fatal Four-Way for the titles.

WWE’s intends to load the card with marquee names and dream match potential, and the combination of two of the most decorated women in WWE certainly fits the bill.

This match was officially confirmed during Monday’s SmackDown taping, which is set to air this Friday. Flair and Bliss will now challenge Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez, who were confirmed on RAW as champions following Liv Morgan’s injury. The remaining two teams will come from RAW and NXT, with qualifying matches expected to take place over the coming week. Click here for complete WWE SmackDown taping results.
