As PWMania.com previously reported, an initial plagiarism lawsuit that Anthony Duane Wilson filed against AEW and WWE was dismissed.
An update was recently provided, where it was mentioned that Wilson re-filed his claim for the lawsuit in Ohio’s United States District Court, accusing both AEW and WWE of plagiarism and damages. According to the court, AEW has an extension until February 23rd to respond, while WWE has until March 7th to respond.
Wilson’s lawsuit against both promotions is he claims WWE used his works without permission, impacting his wrestling gimmicks, names, slogans and likeness.
Wilson also revealed that his plans for his own promotion were stolen, which caused damage to his career and he even adds that he previously had meetings with members of Bullet Club to make it happen. Wilson is reportedly seeking control of AEW, removal of stolen works, an apology and $250 million in damages.
