According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the 2029 edition of WWE SummerSlam is scheduled to take place in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.
The report also stated that when WWE and the Indiana Sports Corporation finalized their agreement for future Premium Live Events (PLE) in June 2024, part of the deal included hosting a future SummerSlam. Indianapolis had previously hosted the first-ever WrestlePalooza PLE in September of the previous year.
This news comes just days after this year’s SummerSlam, which was held at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over two nights. As of now, there is no specific date or venue announced for the 2029 SummerSlam. WWE has not officially announced next year’s SummerSlam, nor the events planned for 2028 and 2029.
