During WWE Wrestlemania 40 Sunday PLE, The Undertaker appeared in a spot rumored to be for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The Undertaker ended up helping Cody Rhodes by giving The Rock a chokeslam.
While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, The Miz commented on Cody’s match with Roman Reigns.
He said, “Dare I say that that was the best main event I’ve her seen in WWE WrestleMania history? You got to see everything. A lot of people were like, ‘I want Stone Cold Steve Austin.’ I love that it was The Undertaker. Because the Undertaker is the locker room leader, he’s the person that has always…if he puts his stamp on you, that means more than everything as a WWE superstar.
The fact that Undertaker was out there to help Cody Rhodes says, ‘Hey, we have a new face. We have a new era, and this is Cody Rhodes’ era.’”
