Zoey Stark is not retiring — despite what a convincing AI-generated video might have led fans (and even her family) to believe.
The WWE Raw star took to Twitter/X this week to address a viral deepfake video that falsely claimed she was stepping away from professional wrestling due to injury. The clip used Stark’s likeness and voice to announce her “retirement,” sparking widespread confusion across social media.
Stark posted a video of herself reacting to the AI footage and clarified the situation directly.

Stark confirmed that while she is injured, the situation is far from career-ending. She is currently rehabbing at the UFC Performance Institute following surgery to repair a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus sustained during her match on the May 19th, 2025 episode of WWE Raw.
The former NXT standout has been a rising force in WWE’s women’s division and is known for her explosive athleticism and hard-hitting style. Fans and fellow wrestlers quickly rallied around Stark online, offering support and slamming the spread of the fake video.
