On Thursday, WWE hosted a live event from Cardiff, Wales, UK’s Utilita Arena. RAW stars hosted the event, and Damian Priest’s WWE World Heavyweight Title had an intriguing challenger.
Priest defeated Drew McIntyre for the title at WWE WrestleMania XL by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase moments after McIntyre won the title from Seth Rollins in the first match. He’ll defend it against Jey Uso in Backlash France next month.
At the live event, Priest retained the World Title over Xavier Woods, who has spent the majority of his WWE career as a tag team star, most notably as a member of The New Day with Big E and Kofi Kingston.
