WWE Hall of Famer โ€œThe Million Dollar Manโ€ Ted DiBiase recently appeared on an episode of his โ€œEverybodyโ€™s Got a Podโ€ podcast, where he discussed a number of topics including the backstage environment in WCW and how he believes they lacked leadership under Eric Bischoff.

DiBiase said, โ€œWell, hereโ€™s the thing. The WWF, everybody knew who the boss was. Itโ€™s Vince, and heโ€™s got the last word. And whoever his booker is, wherever โ€” the orders are coming from headquarters. The problem with the WCW and that whole thing with [Eric] Bischoff โ€” I mean, Bischoff put himself into the thing. And I mean, you got a guy running the show who doesnโ€™t really know squat, but not wrestling. Eric, you know, like I donโ€™t have anything personally against Eric. Personally, heโ€™s a nice guy, but it wasnโ€™t โ€” it was this way. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.โ€

On seeing potential in Booker T:

โ€œIt kind of grew on me. Itโ€™s kind of like, I saw Booker and I saw him blossom. By the time he got the big break, I said, โ€˜Well, nobody, nobody deserves it better, more than he does.โ€™โ€
