Maven Responds To Online Speculation About His Sexuality

Former WWE star Maven has addressed ongoing internet speculation about his sexuality in a candid video posted to his YouTube channel, directly responding to assumptions that have circulated online.

โ€œMost people just assumeโ€”and I donโ€™t know whyโ€”that I am [gay],โ€ Maven said. โ€œI guess, you know, like Jerry Seinfeld said, โ€˜Iโ€™m clean, Iโ€™m neat, and I take care of myself.โ€™ I guess that makes me gay. I am not. I have 48 years of unblemished heterosexuality.โ€

While clarifying that he isnโ€™t bothered by the rumors, Maven made it clear he has no judgment toward others:

โ€œIf youโ€™re gay, thatโ€™s fine. I donโ€™t judge people, never have, never will. The fact that people judge me, does it bother me? Not really. If you think Iโ€™m gay and that makes you happy, keep thinking it. I could care less.โ€

He also opened up about his personal life, revealing that although heโ€™s never been married, he has been in a long-term relationship:

โ€œNot married, never been married, more than likely never will be married. Iโ€™ve been with the same girl for 13 years. So, are we married? No, technically on paper by law, we are not. But, I mean, after 13 yearsโ€ฆ common law marriage is seven, weโ€™ve been together 13, so weโ€™re almost at double common law.โ€

Maven wrapped up the topic with a bit of humor:

โ€œIโ€™m not married, but Iโ€™m settled down. Sorry ladies and gay men.โ€
