WWE Women’s World Championship
Naomi (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky
The WWE Women’s World Championship match will kick things off inside the squared circle as the first match of the evening here at night two of “The Biggest Party of the Summer.” We hear the familiar sounds of Rhea Ripley’s theme music.
“Mami” makes her way to the ring first for the scheduled triple-threat title tilt. She settles into the ring and then Iyo Sky makes her way out to a good crowd reaction. The reigning WWE Women’s Champion Naomi “proceeds with caution” to the ring third.
She stops briefly on the massive entrance stage to jam with her father, who is on guitar for her special ring walk. Rhea and Iyo decide to work together against Naomi and head outside the ring, boxing her in from either side and forcing her to flee into the ring. She tries to flee again in the ring but the challengers won’t let her.
Iyo and Rhea begin to punch Naomi back and forth between them before sending her to the corner. Ripley whips Iyo into Naomi. Iyo tries to whip Naomi into a Big Boot from Rhea, but Naomi reverses the whip and sends Iyo’s face into Ripley’s boot. Naomi heads up top and takes out Iyo and Rhea with a crossbody.
She then tosses Ripley out of the ring. Naomi kicks a seated Iyo in the face. Naomi uses Iyo’s hair for a series of snap-mares. Naomi continues to maintain control as Ripley recovers on the outside. Naomi tries to suplex Ripley as she enters; Ripley struggles until Naomi bites her hand, then shoves Ripley off the apron.
Naomi takes down an entering Iyo with a suplex and covers for two. Remember, a triple-threat is a no DQ so biting and hair pulling are legal. Naomi slaps a head hold on Iyo, only breaking it when Ripley enters the ring. Naomi shoves Iyo towards Rhea, who catches her in a side head-lock.
Naomi hits a springboard kick off the ropes and onto Rhea’s head; this causes Ripley to fall back and, as she’s holding Iyo, a DDT happens. Ripley rallies and begins to chain moves together, putting an end to Naomi’s opening and dominant stretch. Ripley and Iyo have some fun together, playing up to the crowd.

She follows it up with a bomb and covers, but Naomi drags her out of the ring to make the save. Naomi attempts to enter the ring and cover, but Ripley drags her out.

Ripley intercepts her, so Iyo drops Ripley and hits a standing stop. Iyo positions Naomi and Ripley in opposite corners and begins hitting Bullet Train Attacks on them both. Iyo calls for the Over the Moonsault but Ripley rushes over and shoves her back, causing Iyo to crash forward against the turnbuckle.
Naomi attacks Ripley from behind then hits her Split-Legged Moonsault. Iyo looks to break up the follow-up pin attempt with an Over the Moonsault, but Naomi moves out the way. Iyo crashes into Ripley. Naomi covers Iyo for a close two. Naomi pulls Iyo up and begins to unload on her.
Iyo fires off some uppercuts of her own to gain separation. Iyo runs off the ropes but is caught in the face with a running knee by Naomi. Ripley catches Naomi immediately with a Riptide and covers for a close two. Iyo comes flying in from across the ring to make the save at the last possible moment.
From there, Ripley takes over and begins to dominate. She takes Iyo to the corner and climbs the ropes with her. She jumps and connects with an Avalanche Rip-Tide, but Naomi then takes her out and steals the pin for the victory to successfully retain her WWE Women’s World Championship.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria
We see footage of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s appearance from earlier this week at the White House in Washington, D.C. We also see a video package showing the international commentary teams live reactions and calls of ‘The Ruse of the Century’ / ‘The Heist of the Summer’ by Seth Rollins from night one.
From there, the familiar sounds of Lyra Valkyria’s theme hits the house speakers inside MetLife Stadium. Out she comes to the fans thankfully doing the “WOO!” at the end of each line of her song. It’s brutal when she doesn’t get that. The challenger settles inside the squared circle and her music dies down.
Now we hear the new theme for Becky Lynch by The Wonder Years, which she gave a preview of earlier in the weekend. “The Man” emerges in a massive red entrance outfit. The reigning and defending WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion heads down and settles in the ring for her latest title defense.
We see Lyra start off strong, slapping and punching Becky before going on an offensive stretch featuring hip tosses and takedowns. Becky exits the ring and walks around for a breather Lyra tries for an attack to the outside but Lynch sidesteps it and sends Lyra into the commentary table.
Lynch slams Lyra’s face into the table a few times. Becky gets a kendo stick from under the ring. The crowd is pretty quiet for this match. Lyra gets a crowbar from under the ring. The two clash weapons; the crowbar wins and Lynch loses her stick. Lynch begs for mercy as Lyra closes in; Lyra swings and misses as Lynch escapes.
The two clash outside for a few minutes, with Lyra ending up on top. Highlights include Lyra setting up a table outside, only for Lynch to use a steel chain to choke her out in what Barret calls a “Dublin Grin.” Lynch uses the chain and the ring post. Lynch eventually takes the action back into the ring and reclaims her kendo stick.
Lynch uses the kendo to unload on Lyra, whacking her repeatedly. Lynch uses the stick to execute a Side Russian Leg Sweep and tries for our first cover attempt of the night. No joy. Becky lines up, using her kendo like a golf club, and whacks Lyra in the ribs. Cole points out that Lynch is in Happy Gilmore 2.
Lynch covers for another two. Lynch slows the pace even more, attempting mind games and unloading with more kendo strikes. Lynch finally heads outside and gets a red metal tool box, then a steel chair and places both in the ring. She goes back and gets a second chair for good measure, then uses it to smack Lyra across the back.
Lynch with a drop toehold to send Lyra’s face into a set up steel chair. Becky uses the steel tool box to ram Lyra, and covers for two. No joy. Joy died with this match. After some more back-and-forth action, Bayley gets involved in the mix. She debates laying out Valkyria with a pipe.
Lynch yells at her to do it as she hesitates. She begins scolding Bayley, demanding that she do it. Instead, Lynch and Bayley begin brawling with each other. Bayley beats Lynch down while yelling at her that she ruined everything. As they fight near a table that is set up, we see Valkyria must have escaped the chair she was trapped in.
How? Because out of nowhere, she comes flying into the camera shot and smashes Lynch through the table. Back in the ring, Valkyria goes for the Night Wing finisher, but Lynch avoids it. Lynch goes for the Man-Handle Slam, but Valkyria avoids it.
Bayley hits the ring, looking to blast Lynch with a chain wrapped around her fist, but accidentally hits Valkyria. Lynch follows up and gets the pin for the victory to successfully retain her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Valkyria can no longer challenge for the title while Lynch has it.

WWE United States Championship (Steel Cage Match)
Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
We get a trailer for WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Western Australia, followed by a quick commercial break. Michael Cole does a live ad-read for the Fifa World Cup and then we move to some promotion for WWE’s deal with Cosm, and their special viewing experience for WWE PLEs in Los Angeles, CA.
The WWE podcasts shows are also plugged, and then we get another round of celebrity and other notable cameo appearances in the crowd. Jelly Roll, Metro Boomin, Tigirlily Gold, who performed ‘America the Beautiful’ earlier, and Russell Wilson of the New York Giants in the NFL are among those shown this time.
From there, the ominous music plays that always precedes the lowering of a steel cage over the squared circle. As this is going on, Michael Cole sets up the pre-match video package, which airs now to explain the story behind the road to the Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu steel cage match for the WWE U.S. Championship.
Reigning and defending WWE United States Champion Solo Sikoa makes his way to the cage-covered ring first. He settles in the ring and the entrance tune for his opponent hits. The crowd goes wild as “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu makes his way down to the ring.
At the bell, we see the two take a few moments to stare each other down. Solo says something off-microphone that prompts Fatu to blast him with the first shot. Both men battle back-and-forth for control of the offense in our early moments, using various strikes and holds.
Fatu drops Solo with a speedy corkscrew elbow. Neither man establishes control for the first few minutes. Finally, the champ takes our first lead of the match, chaining together various offensive strikes while playing up to a booing crowd. Solo with a Senton Bomb.
Solo continues to play mind games, yelling insults at Fatu while sending him into the steel cage. Solo covers for two, then tells the ref to open the steel cage door. Solo tries to walk out but Fatu grabs his foot. Solo pummels Fatu; the official locks the door again.
Solo tells him to open it again; Fatu grabs Solo’s ankle, again. Solo finally looks for a Samoan Spike but Fatu ducks under. Fatu shows life, hitting a side kick before dropping the champ with a clothesline. Jimmy Uso’s theme hits out of nowhere and down he runs to help Fatu out as Sikoa’s MFT’s continue to get involved.
A big assist from Talla Tonga, who breaks the cage door open, leads to Sikoa escaping the cage for the win. Jacob was handcuffed to the top of the cage, but broke free literally simply by brute force and power. Still, it wasn’t enough for him to stop Sikoa from escaping.
Once the match wraps up, we quickly learn that Solo Sikoa is not satisfied. He yells at his MFT’s to pick up Fatu and deliver more punishment. Jimmy Uso ends up running over and landing super kicks. This helps Fatu out, who ultimately climbs and leaps for an insane tip-top of the cage moonsault to the MFT’s.
Winner and STILL WWE U.S. Champion: Solo Sikoa
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles
Before our co-main event of the evening, we get a live ad-read for AAA TripleMania XXXIII. This leads to more cameos in the crowd. Among them shown this time are AAA stars Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown. The pre-match video package then airs to set the stage for our WWE Intercontinental Championship contest.
Dominik Mysterio makes his way out, as does AJ Styles, the latter of whom ironically enough did a full-on special ring entrance tribute to Eddie Guerrero. Styles came to the ring in a tricked out low-rider just like the late Latino Heat, and even had his son riding shotgun with him.
The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our fifth title tilt in a row. Thus far, no titles have changed hands tonight at SummerSlam Sunday. Mysterio quickly goes after him, but Styles punches him down. Mysterio rolls out of the ring, and Styles lies across the top turnbuckle a la Eddie Guerrero.
Styles chases Mysterio into the ring and avoids an elbow drop. Styles hits Mysterio with a backbreaker, and Mysterio quickly retreats to the corner. Mysterio wants a test of strength before attempting a kick, but Styles blocks it.
Styles hits an atomic drop and clotheslines him over the top rope. Styles goes for a plancha, but he lands on the apron when Mysterio moves. Mysterio sweeps his feet and baseball slides him off the apron. Mysterio springboards off the second rope and dives onto Styles on the floor.
Mysterio gets Styles in the ring and mocks the Eddie Guerrero shimmie. Mysterio hits a slingshot senton bomb for a one-count. Mysterio stomps Styles in the corner and poses for the crowd. Mysterio attacks Styles in the corner and puts him on the top rope.
Mysterio goes for a super hurricanrana, but Styles holds him up in the Styles Clash position. Mysterio fights out, so Styles hits a diving tornado DDT. After several more minutes of action, we see Dom-Dom sneakily unzip his own boot.
While Styles seems to have Dom trapped in a calf-crusher and on the verge of tapping, we see Dom escape from his boot to free himself. Moments later, Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm, but takes out the referee instead. As the referee is still foggy and recovering, the finishing sequence takes place.
Things culminate as we see Dom-Dom tap into his inner-“Dirty” playbook, blasting Styles with his boot and following up with a top-rope Frogsplash for the pinfall victory. With the win, Dom-Dom is still your WWE Intercontinental Champion. He lied. He cheated. He stole. He also retained his title with a big PLE win.
Winner and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dominik Mysterio
Stephanie McMahon Announces Record-Breaking Attendance

Undisputed WWE Championship (Street Fight)
John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
It’s main event time!
With 11 matches across two nights now officially in the books, there’s only one thing left to do — run back the big WrestleMania 41 main event. The pre-match video package airs now to tell the story of the road to John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes II in a Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
We hear a familiar voice when we return inside MetLife Stadium. โThe American Dreamโ Dusty Rhodesโ voice is heard, saying heโs proud of his son. Dusty talks about the view always being the same. It’s the quote Cody Rhodes posted on social media with a black-and-white photo of his entrance helmet/mask earlier today.
After that message wraps up, the usual theme for Cody Rhodes hits. “The American Nightmare” ascends from the floor of the stage in his special ring entrance helmet/mask to a roar from the New Jersey crowd. The challenger begins his long walk to the ring for our main event of the evening.
From there, we see John Cena’s heel all-black production elements, with the simple “John Cena” white-lettering as his theme hits. The production elements quickly transition to the usual colorful style that WWE fans are used to seeing from “The Greatest of All-Time.”
A fired up, babyface-acting Undisputed WWE Champion emerges and begins his long walk to the ring for the final match of the evening. The final pre-match ring introductions are handled for the champion and the challenger, and then the bell sounds to get this Street Fight for the title officially off-and-running.
Cena and Rhodes milk the moment, soaking up the intense atmosphere inside MetLife Stadium, before sharing a hug in a sign of respect. After that, they begin duking it out, trading wild shots as the crowd noise grows. Cena sends Rhodes out of the ring. Rhodes quickly grabs Cena and whips him into the steel steps.
They tumble over. Rhodes bounces Cenaโs face off the apron. Cena comes back by reversing a whip into the other set of steel steps. Cena walks over to Tyrese Haliburton, who is recovering from Achilles Tendon surgery, does the โYou canโt see meโ taunt to a nice reaction, and takes a crutch. Cena cracks the crutch off Rhodesโ spine.
Cena puts the bottom half of the steps into the ring and waits for Rhodes to get up. Cena sets up for an Attitude Adjustment, but Rhodes gets out and scoop slams Cena onto the steps! Rhodes heads to the top rope, but Cena pops up and shoves him to the floor. Cena powers up the steps and throws them into Rhodesโ face at ringside.
Cena goes after him outside, but the referee stops him for a moment to let Rhodes recover. Cena bounces Rhodes off the barricade and gets him in the ring. Cena gets on the apron, but Rhodes grounds him with a Disaster Kick. Rhodes connects with a side leg sweep for a one-count.
Rhodes kicks Cena and drops down for an uppercut for a two-count. Rhodes traps the arm and applies a rear chin lock. Cena quickly fights up and powers out of the hold. Cena kicks Rhodes and sends him to the corner. Rhodes slingshots over him and hits a powerslam for a two-count.
Rhodes charges, but Cena hits a back body drop over the top rope. Rhodes and Cena both go under the ring and grab a chair. They swing and crash the chairs into each other. Rhodes grabs one of the chairs and hits Cena in the back with it for a two-count. Rhodes stomps on Cenaโs ankle and wedges a chair in the corner.
Rhodes tries to drive him into the chair, but Cena reverses it. Cue the five moves of doom! One shoulder block. Two shoulder blocks. Back suplex powerbomb. You canโt see me. 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Rhodes stumbles up, and Cena goes for the AA, but Rhodes slides off. Rhodes hits a pair of clotheslines, some stinging left jabs, and a Bionic Elbow.
Rhodes drops him with a Cody Cutter. 1โฆ 2โฆ Cena kicks out. Rhodes pulls Cena up, but Cena surprises him with an AA for a near fall. Cena grabs the ankle for an STF, but Rhodes kicks him back. Rhodes boots him back and goes to the top rope for a moonsault. He follows up with a cover, but Cena kicks out.
Now we see Rhodes hit his second Disaster Kick of the match for a near fall. The crowd is solidly behind Cena, and Rhodes looks a little annoyed. Rhodes scales to the top rope and hits his second Cody Cutter of the match for a two-count. Rhodes wonders what he has to do. Cena pops up and hits an electric chair drop for a two-count.
Cena picks Rhodes up, but Rhodes slides off and hits Cena with a piledriver for a two-count. Rhodes is looking frustrated as he gets to his feet. The referee checks on Cena. The piledriver is a banned move in WWE. Wade Barrett puts it over as the most dangerous move in wrestling.
Rhodes tries to power Cena up, but Cena pops up and hits an AA. Both men are down. They slowly get up and start exhaustedly exchanging punches. They stumble around the ring as they throw the punches. Cena hits the ropes, but Rhodes hits a pop-up powerbomb.
Cena kicks out after the count of one, and transitions to an STF! Rhodes claws to the bottom rope and grabs it. This is a Street Fight, so Cena wonโt release the hold. Rhodes pulls himself to the apron to get out. Cena grabs Rhodes at ringside and attacks.
Rhodes reverses a whip and sends Cena into the timekeeperโs area. Rhodes reaches over to grab him, but Cena hits him in the head with a microphone! Cena then hits a Code Red on the floor! What?! The crowd is cheering for Cena as he clears the commentary table.
Cena puts Rhodes on the other commentary table and leaps off with an Avalanche AA through the other table. Rhodes ends up taking the turnbuckle off the corner. He uses the steel pole as a weapon. He can’t finish Cena off. Cena ends up bringing a table in the ring.
Cody fights back and taking over again. The two end up on the ropes together, and they go through the table in the middle of the ring. Surprisingly enough, they both almost immediately begin getting up. Cody seems fine, while Cena is slowly using the ropes to crawl up. Cody salutes Cena from behind and then hits Cross-Rhodes for the win.
Winner and NEW Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes
Brock Lesnar Returns
Once the match wraps up, we see Cody Rhodes and John Cena embrace in an emotional moment. Cody begins tearing up as Cena says something to him in his ear off-microphone. The two finish their embrace, Cody poses with the title and then leaves the ring to Cena.
Cena looks around at the crowd as Rhodes’ music dies down. Fans break out in a loud “Thank you Cena! Thank you Cena!” chant. He mouths the words, “No, thank you” back to the fans. He kneels down to kiss the ring mat. When he gets back up, it happens.
The unmistakable first note of the iconic theme song for Brock Lesnar hits. We hear the crowd go absolutely ballistic, as Michael Cole and Wade Barrett collectively lose their minds on the call on commentary. “The Beast Incarnate” emerges and soaks up the moment from the top of the stage.
Lesnar begins a slow walk down the massive entrance ramp, never once taking his eyes off of Cena in the ring. He eventually makes it down to ringside, where he hops up on the ring apron. As soon as he enters the ring, the fight between he and Cena is on.
Lesnar ends up taking Cena out and leaving him laying. He stands tall as the first-ever two-night WWE SummerSlam premium live event goes off the air. That’s how night two of WWE SummerSlam 2025 wrapped up. Thanks for joining us for our live results coverage this weekend!
