AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion Laredo Kid spoke with SOTO619 about various topics, including his match against WWE SmackDown star Trick Williams at Saturday Night’s Main Event last July.
Kid said, “Yeah, yeah. And I feel so good. I [didn’t] believe when they call me for this match. It’s in the biggest event, like Madison Square Garden. And then [against] US Champion Trick Williams — two great things for me. Now I feel that I deserve it, because I work a lot in this business. And now I’m the [AAA Mixed Tag Team] Champion. And I feel very, very good and proud for myself.”
On the possibility of defending the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship in WWE:
“I hope, I hope. I put some questions on my media socials about, ‘Who do you want to see me and La Hiedra versus who for the belts?’ I think it’s for NXT, RAW, SmackDown, it doesn’t matter. We are ready for everything, you know?”
On possibly defending them against Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk and AJ Lee:
“Yeah, that’s a good option. I hope, that’d be cool. And he’s going to be a good match, you know?”
