WWE star Je’Von Evans appeared on “All The Smoke” to discuss various topics, including what it feels like to be mentored by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels in NXT.
Evans said, “Oh, bro, it’s a blessing, you feel me? Not every day you could say that one of your mentors or like, your top mentor is Shawn Michaels. And bro, he just [has] got so much knowledge and so many years in WWE, and just in wrestling in general. Like, he’s helped me change my mind, my thought process about wrestling.”
On getting mentored by other veterans:
“Oh yeah, for sure, for sure. Of course, we got Fit Finlay in NXT. And you’ve got Randy Orton — that’s like crazy to say Randy Orton is my mentor. John Cena, Roman, Seth, like these are guys that are looking over me. And like I said earlier, bro, I’m gonna keep on saying it. It’s such a blessing. I’m just honored to be in this position. I know it’s gonna get better and better.”
