AEW star Adam Copeland recently appeared on an episode of the NotSam Wrestling podcast to talk about a number of topics including bringing up real-life issues and situation in his storyline with fellow AEW star Matt Hardy on WWE TV.
Copeland said, โIt was pretty quickly.โ โI wanted to get into it sooner than we did. Just face it head on and letโs go. We eventually got there when they brought Matt back and I was like, โOkay, here we go.โ Now, at least, all under the same roof, now we can get to work on trying to make something from this because itโs already out in the ether anyway so letโs use it and in a perfect world, we get it put behind us and in a perfect world weโre all in a better place, at least professionally, after the fact.โ
โAt that point, thatโs the only positive I could think to pull out of it. โOkay, I f***ed up, now what do I do?โ That was really the first instance, lousy way to get there, but I feel like thatโs almost when I stepped into manhood. When I fully went, I have to be not a kid anymore, Iโm on the road and having fun. Now there are bigger things and I have to face them.โ
