AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland recently appeared on an episode of the Swerve City podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including how he actually enjoyed wrestling during the pandemic era.
Copeland said, โIt was much more personal and I actually enjoyed that aspect of the pandemic. I hated wrestling in front of no one but I really liked doing promos โ I call them monologues.โ
On His โGreatest Wrestling Match Everโ bout with Randy Orton:
โIt was fun to explore it and work with what we had, which wasnโt much at that point. What a ridiculous title โฆ What does that mean? There no such thing as the โgreatestโ anything.โ
On his second match back having no fans:
โItโs my second match back in 10 years and we have no fans. We ended up having some of the NXT folk there, but still it was like โThis is ridiculous.’โ
