On Sunday night, Stephanie McMahon made an unexpected appearance at WWE WrestleMania XL – Night 2. During her promo, she stated that this year’s event marked the beginning of the Paul Levesque era and that she was honored to be at every WrestleMania. She extended a warm welcome to everyone in Mania.
McMahon previously announced in the summer of 2022 that she would be taking a leave of absence from WWE, only to return after her father, Vince McMahon, had his hush money scandal revealed to the press. He resigned from his WWE duties.
Stephanie, on the other hand, announced in January that she was no longer an executive with the company, having resigned as WWE’s Chairwoman and Co-CEO. It was only a few days after Vince voted himself back onto the Board of Directors, along with George Barrios and Michelle Wilson.
Stephanie knew it was only a matter of time before she was demoted after Vince’s return, according to WWE rumors at the time. This led to her leaving because she didn’t need the money or the job, especially since she had already decided to leave months ago. He has now left the company following the horrific allegations made by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the Stephanie segment was kept quiet internally and was listed as a Triple H promo on the run sheets. When she arrived backstage, she was greeted warmly by many because she has a long history of being popular with those in the company.
