Triple H has commented on his wife Stephanie McMahon’s unexpected appearance at WWE WrestleMania 40.
The former WWE executive began the second night of the show with a promo, claiming she had the privilege of attending every WrestleMania and that this year’s event was the first of the Paul Levesque era. She extended a warm welcome to everyone at Mania. She also attended the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
After her father, Vince McMahon, voted himself back onto the board of directors prior to agreeing to be acquired by Endeavor, and after he merged with the UFC to form the TKO Holdings Group, Stephanie announced last year that she was leaving the company in an executive capacity.
While speaking at the post-WrestleMania 40 press conference, Triple H was asked about McMahon’s appearance.
“So great to have her back home. I get her home all the time. To have her back here, to see the doubt leave her by being here for the last few days, to see her confidence come back, and to know that this is her home. All of you, all of us, all this business, it’s her home, and as much as anybody on the planet, she belongs here. Hopefully, she knows that now. So, happy to have her back.”
