Fightful Select reports that WWE initially reached out to hip-hop megastar Cardi B. back in 2021 as they wanted to use one of her songs for their SummerSlam PLE that year. They also wanted her to make an appearance on the show. However, Cardi B. got pregnant, and the possibility of collaboration was halted.
It was also noted on the report that WWE even reached out to pro boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson and music star Megan Thee Stallion on that same year as they are looking to incorporate more sports stars and mainstream celebrities into their programming and PLEs.
Cardi B. has recently been included in the trailer for the first-ever two-night WWE SummerSlam PLE in 2025.
