Bully Ray: LA Knight Beating Roman Reigns Would Be “Most Risky Decision In A Long Time”

Some feel the time is now for LA Knight.

Others think it’s too risky of a move to put the company on the shoulders of “The Mega Star.”

Bully Ray falls into the latter category.

The WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke on the latest episode of Busted Open Radio about how he feels it is too risky of a move for WWE to put the Universal Championship on LA Knight and have him be the one to dethrone the several-year title reign of Roman Reigns when the two meet at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 4.

“I think it would be the most risky decision, business-wise, that I’ve seen in a long time,” Ray bluntly stated when talking about the possibility of this happening during the show.

Ray continued, “[Crown Jewel is] a big opportunity for LA Knight to take a step forward. That’s the best that they can hope for him. He’s very cool. I like the look. I like the presentation. I like the way he is on the stick. In Saudi [Arabia], he needs to prove to the office … that he can hang with Roman Reigns on a very big stage.”
