As previously reported by PWMania.com, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg made a surprise appearance on Monday Night RAW, confronting World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER in a tense face-off. Following the segment, WWE officially announced that the two will collide in a World Title match at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
GUNTHER later took to Instagram to comment on the upcoming showdown, writing:
“I’m next …. guess I can spare 3 minutes. #Gunther #RingGeneral #WWE”
The high-stakes match will take place Saturday, July 12th, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be broadcast live on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
