Bayley claims she will be “alright” following an injury scare at Sunday’s WWE live event in Salisbury, Maryland.
As PWMania.com previously stated, Bayley sustained a knee injury while working a match with WWE Women’s Champion Asuka, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair. Bayley went down on her knee at one point, and Asuka pinned Flair early in the match. Bayley was examined by doctors at ringside before being assisted to the back. This was later revealed to be a legitimate injury situation.
In an update, Bayley was seen leaving the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on her own, walking with a limp and not using a boot or crutches.
The injury occurred when Asuka and Bayley collided in what appears to be a miscommunication incident, as seen in the video below. After the show, Bayley took to Twitter and posted a photo of her iced knee. She addressed the injury and thanked the audience.
“I’ll be alright, thanks everyone,” she wrote.
There is currently no word on whether Bayley will miss any ring time, but we will keep you updated. The following tweets are related:
