WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne from Fatal Influence appeared on Notsam Wrestling Live! to discuss various topics, including her feelings about winning the championship.
Jayne said, “I feel great. It felt kind of weird not having a title around my waist. So, I feel like I’m right back where I need to be and my first main roster title and I’m ready to kick a**.”
On the August 14 episode of SmackDown in Boston, Jayne captured her first title on WWE’s main roster. Stratton’s reign ended 112 days later, thanks to Jayne and the interference from her teammates in Fatal Influence. This victory gives Fatal Influence control of three titles in the women’s division, as Henley and Reid currently hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as well.
Before joining the WWE main roster, Jayne built an impressive championship resume in NXT, where she won the Women’s Championship and the Women’s Tag Team Titles twice each. Additionally, she has held the TNA Knockouts World Championship, becoming the first wrestler to hold titles in both WWE and TNA simultaneously.
