Jordynne Grace continues to make the media rounds ahead of her TNA Knockouts Championship defense against Ash By Elegance at the upcoming TNA Slammiversary 2024 pay-per-view this Saturday, July 20 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
During an interview this week with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, “The Juggernaut” spoke about TNA stars appearing on NXT every week since she kicked off the crossover appearances on the May 28 episode, as well as her desire to see a NXT vs. TNA Worlds Collide special event.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where she touches on these topics with her thoughts.
On TNA being featured on NXT programming every week since she kicked off the crossover appearances on the May 28 episode: “There wasnโt any TNA talent on the last NXT pay-per-view, but we did have a very important moment. Right after Ethan Page won the title, and the second before Heatwave went off the air, you saw that clip of Joe Hendry. If you blinked, you would have missed it. That was a very unique and special way to incorporate TNA into the NXT event.”
On wanting to see a NXT vs. TNA Worlds Collide special event: “Iโve mentioned this beforeโmy big dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. I think thatโs going to be a slow build, and the world probably isnโt ready, but when it happens, theyโre going to see TNA beat NXT.”
