Former WWE superstar Matt Riddle made his TNA debut at Turning Point.
Riddle replaced Trey Miguel, who was unable to attend due to travel concerns, and teamed up with Zach Wentz and KUSHIDA to face Ace Austin and The Hardys.
Riddle’s move to TNA signals a new chapter in his career following a contentious departure from WWE. He was let go in September 2023 after several violations of the company’s wellness policy and suspicions of misconduct. Since then, “The Original Bro” has made waves on the independent circuit, competing for firms such as MLW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he has won the NJPW World Television Championship.
The Hardys won the bout after Jeff pinned KUSHIDA with the Swanton Bomb. There is no news on whether Riddle has signed a long-term contract, is on a handshake agreement, or is making a one-time appearance.
