WWE veteran Natalya recently stepped into the spotlight outside of WWE, headlining Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling “Heart and Soul” all-women’s event—and the result was a standout performance that drew high praise from both her opponent and her legendary host.
Natalya faced rising star Promise Braxton in the main event, and following the bout, the Guinness World Record holder for most WWE women’s matches had nothing but glowing words for her opponent and the promotion.
“With a world record for the most matches of any woman in WWE history, this match with Promise Braxton, for Reality of Wrestling, was up there with one of my favorites of my career,” Natalya shared on social media. “Reality of Wrestling is top tier. Promise is the real deal. She’s as good as anyone I’ve ever worked with.”
On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T echoed those sentiments, noting just how much the experience meant for Braxton. “I can only imagine how Promise felt in there with Nattie,” Booker said. “I remember my Steamboat moment—being in the ring with Ricky Steamboat. I walked away from that match thinking, ‘Man, I think I got it figured out now.’ It was a master class, and I’m sure Promise will remember that night for the rest of her life.”
Booker T also emphasized how impressed he was with his student’s composure and in-ring performance. “Promise didn’t look out of place at all,” he said. “She didn’t look like she didn’t belong in the middle of that ring with Natty Neidhart. I could see the learning happening in real time.”
Natalya, still an active WWE superstar, has recently been expanding her horizons by working select dates with outside promotions including NWA and ROW. As for Promise Braxton, the Texas-based standout continues to build momentum as a top name in Reality of Wrestling’s women’s division.
With this latest showcase, it’s clear both Natalya and Promise are leaving lasting impressions—in and outside of WWE.
