AEW star QT Marshall spoke with the Tapped Out Podcast Network on a number of topics, including co-running the Nightmare Factory wrestling school with Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
Marshall said, โItโs like divorced parents. No. We just show up and coach. Heโs still my best friend and Iโm the godfather of his child and we own the school together. Thereโs times that people have shown up from WWE, thereโs time that people have shown up from AEW. It just is what it is. I donโt care what Codyโs relationship is with everyone from AEW, and I donโt care what AEWโs relationship is with Cody. I donโt care what WWEโs relationship is with me, and I donโt care what mine is with them. Weโre running a school, itโs completely a separate entity.โ
โI think weโre really good about the way we handle stuff like that, like, โHey, WWE needs to do something; we need to film a documentary.โ Cool, weโll put off training, and they can come there. Hey, AEW needs to do something. Like, itโs fine. One doesnโt have to do with the other, letโs put it that way.โ
