PWInsider.com reports that a number of WWE and TNA personalities have been spotted backstage at last night’s NXT Battleground PLE including top WWE star CM Punk, TNA President Anthony Cicione and former WWE star and TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim.
TNA Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer and current TNA star “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham were also at last night’s NXT Battleground PLE.
There’s no word yet on whether they were there to support TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace or if there were business dealings as well backstage, but updates will be provided once they become available.
