Fresh from his contentious win over KSI, Tommy Fury has set his sights on facing off against MMA legend Conor McGregor. The younger half-brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has defeated two influencer boxers in the form of KSI and Jake Paul and now seemingly fancies his chances against Dubliner McGregor.
McGregor is the undisputed star of MMA, and anytime the Irishman steps into the Octagon, the interest in the fight goes sky-high. That’s also true of the betting action, and if you want to find the ideal brands to sign up with in order to place those bets, then check out this insightful guide as to the best UFC betting sites around.
No two sportsbooks are the same, and it’s crucial that prospective bettors find the best provider for specific niches, and UFC is no different in that regard to the likes of NFL, NBA, or MLB. So, pick wisely to make sure you get the widest selection of betting markets and, more importantly, the largest payouts.
Having defeated KSI, winning the fight by a unanimous decision, Fury is keen to take things up a notch, stating;
“I’m at the head of the table now,”
“We’ll sit down with the whole team and address what’s next, but who says it has to be the Pauls? Who says it has to be KSI?”
“I would love to share the ring with Conor McGregor, and if Conor wants it next, I’ll 100 percent share the ring with him. I’m a fan of Conor McGregor. I like him. He’s a good man who got me into UFC. If he wants to share the ring, my hand is there, the offer is there. I’ll have Conor next.”
Fury also took the time to disparage Logan Paul, who lost Dillon Danis in the co-main event of the card;
“Logan Paul is absolutely useless,”
“Logan Paul was ten times more useless than me tonight, and I was pretty useless tonight, but Logan Paul is sh*te. I thought Dillon Danis did a spectacular performance because, at the end of the day, Danis has never done a fight before. (Logan) had just come off sharing the ring with Mayweather, juiced up to the gills. He can’t do the rounds, can he? He was f*cked from Round 2.”
“I’m not interested in Logan Paul and his fight. I’m interested in mine. I came out with the W, and now I’m going to celebrate the win with my family.”
As for Conor McGregor’s long-awaited return to UFC, it appears he may well have finally completed a drug test with USADA. The 35-year-old re-enrolled to the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool, and they were quick to get the process started, something McGregor, who never needs much of a reason to speak out, was keen to comment on;
“I was tested two separate times yesterday and within an hour of each other: blood and urine.”
“3 samples of each were requested and given in both instances. They came aboard my yacht. I welcomed them.” McGregor commented before adding.
“Gave them a can of @ForgedStout and a @ProperWhiskey. Life is good.”
These two brands, of course, being McGregor’s own business venture products.
