Following Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the company announced the updated lineup for this month’s Night of Champions premium live event (PLE).
In the King of the Ring Tournament Finals Match, “Main Event” Jey Uso or “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes will face “The Viper” Randy Orton. Additionally, Asuka will compete against either “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez or Jade Cargill in a Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals Match. Finally, WWE United States Champion “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu will defend his title against Solo Sikoa.
Previously announced matches for the event include Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena defending his title against “The Best in the World” CM Punk, and The Judgment Day’s WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio defending his title against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles.
WWE Night of Champions 2025 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 28, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
