WWE Main Event Results – July 13, 2023
Natalya vs. Xia Li
Xia Li lands the 1st shot to drop Natalya but she responds with a double leg takedown so Li bails to the floor. Natalya follows with a baseball slide before Li lands a boot to the face as Natalya crawls back into the ring. She uses her knee to choke Natayla on the ropes and gets a two count. Then another cover and another with both getting a two count.
To the corner where Li lands some strikes and then hits an overhead suplex for a two count then a modified chinlock followed from Li and then she gets a two count after slamming Natalya back down on her head & back.
Natalya breaks the chinlock and lands a kick to the gut then she throws some strikes and lands a discus clothesline for a two count then a sharpshooter is blocked and Li gets a step up enziguiri for two count before Li misses a knee in the corner and Natalya gets the Sharpshooter for the submission win.
Winner: Natalya
Indi Hartwell vs. Dana Brooke
Indi Hartwell & Dana Brooke lock up to start this match off and Indi Hartwell gets a side headlock but Brooks shoves off and Hartwell runs her down with a shoulder then she lifts Brooke off the mat but runs into a hip toss.
Dana with a cartwheel into a kick for a two count and then gets a sunset flip for a another two count then some headscissors from Brooks then she charges in the corner but gets put on the apron. Hartwell lands an uppercut and a boot sends Brooke to the floor as we to a break.
After the break Hartwell drops some elbows for a two count then Hartwell goes to another cover for a two count and then another for a two count then a modified Snake Eyes in the corner followed by a sidewalk slam gets a two count. Brooke escapes a headlock but gets run down with a clothesline for a two count before a suplex gets another two count.
Candice LeRae offers from advice from the apron and she tells Hartwell to wear her down so Hartwell hooks a chinlock but Brooke is able to get to her feet and gets a sleeper but Brooke breaks by running her into the corner she preps Brooke for a superplex but Brooke fights out and comes off the top with a crossbody that leaves both women down.
Hartwell up first but misses an elbow. Brooke lands an elbow and catches Hartwell with a boot to the face then she goes crazy with strikes in the corner and gets the handspring elbow. Brooke tries a sunset flip but Hartwell shifts her weight as she drops to her knees and gets the win.
