WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam recently took to an episode of his โ€œOne of a Kindโ€ podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including why he ended up leaving WCW in 1993.

RVD said, โ€œI stayed there until May of โ€™93, and then I quit WCW on my own because working conditions were better for me outside of WCWโ€ฆ While I was there, there was a change in the office at the beginning of the year, like in February, from Bill Watts โ€” he left โ€” and Ole Anderson took over. Ole Anderson didnโ€™t have the same like for RVD that Bill Watts didโ€ฆ That was a lot of why I ended up leaving.โ€
