New WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano took to his official Twitter (X) account and commented on his and Tommaso Ciampa’s huge win last Friday night on SmackDown to dethrone the Motor City Machine Guns and become a two-time champion.
Gargano said he kept his promise to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, noting that Aldis would not have to worry about Ciampa.
Gargano wrote, “You can say a lot of things about me but a liar I am not.. I kept my promise.. you didn’t have to worry about Tommaso. PS: Thank you for the title match, Alex. 🥰”
