The back-and-forth between Mandy Rose and Tiffany Stratton continues, following Roseโs comments last month on her Power Alphas podcast.
The situation began when Rose noticed Stratton using the phrase โput some respectโ on her name during a promo on the January 10th episode of SmackDownโa catchphrase Rose had previously used. On her podcast, Rose playfully called out Stratton for using her line but also gave her credit for her recent success in WWE.
Stratton later responded in an interview with Ring The Belle, downplaying Roseโs remarks:
“Honestly, I think itโs a little sad that she felt the need to go on her podcast and say something like that. I wish her the best, honestly.”
This week, Rose addressed the backlash to her comments, clarifying that she was never attacking Stratton and that her words were taken out of context.
“Damn, Twitter is so funny. From our last episode about Tiffany Stratton, these hatersโฆ Did you seeโฆ? Letโs be clear: I never bashed Tiffany Stratton. In fact, I praised her in a previous episode, saying sheโs an amazing talent and definitely going places. Look at herโsheโs already a champion, and sheโs only been on the main roster for probably less than two years. Iโve always commended and highly complimented her.”
She went on to address the backlash she received from some fans:
“People were going nuts, saying, โOh my God, youโre just jealous! Youโre this, youโre that. Sheโs done more.โ Iโm like, โGuys, calm down!โโฆ.I just posted a video on there just talking about how you know yโall got to calm down and not take everything so seriously, like so literally. It was a little extreme, but Kudos to Tiffany Stratton, okay, because I think sheโs an incredible talent, and thereโs no hate, trust me.”
Despite the online buzz, it appears thereโs no real animosity between the two starsโjust a case of social media amplifying a lighthearted exchange.
