WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce discussed various topics with Love Wrestling, including the possibility of returning to the ring for a one-time match.
Pearce said, “Less than zero interest in putting on my size 13 Stagecoach boots. I’m 48 years old and have no desire to put spandex on. You at home do not need to see a 48-year-old, bald Caucasian Adam Pearce wearing tights in 2026 or beyond. This is something that will detach retinas. So we’re gonna say no. But we will not ever say never.”
Pearce is a five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Although he retired from professional wrestling in December 2014, he made several appearances in WWE matches in 2021. His most recent in-ring performance occurred on the March 1, 2021, episode of Monday Night RAW, where he teamed up with Braun Strowman to challenge Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander for the RAW Tag Team Championship.
Earlier that year, on SmackDown, Pearce participated in a Universal Championship No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, competing against Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, Rey Mysterio, Sami Zayn, and Shinsuke Nakamura, and he emerged victorious.
