WWE has announced the lineup for next week’s taped episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which will be available internationally on Netflix and in the United States on the USA Network. The show was taped on Friday.
The episode is scheduled to start at 8 PM ET and will take place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
In the featured match, Bakusai, consisting of Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki, will take on The Miz and Kit Wilson in a tag team bout. This is the only match announced for the show so far.
The matchup was established during a backstage segment in which Miz and Wilson approached Nick Aldis, the SmackDown General Manager. Miz said they needed a match after dealing with Danhausen, prompting Aldis to arrange a tag team match for them. This will be Bakusai’s chance to compete, as Kyoki made his WWE TV debut in a vignette with Nakamura during last week’s episode of SmackDown. They have both voiced their intentions to challenge the MFTs, the current WWE Tag Team Champions.
