AEW’s Mick Foley has once again publicly criticized United States President Donald Trump following comments made during a rally in Nebraska this week.
Foley has been outspoken about Trump in the past. In late 2025, the WWE Hall of Famer criticized Trump’s response to the death of film director Rob Reiner. Foley subsequently announced that he was “parting ways” with WWE, citing the company’s association with Trump.
Foley has since joined AEW and has continued to express his political views publicly.
Following Trump’s speech at the Nebraska rally, Foley took to Instagram to question what he viewed as a lack of condemnation from Republican elected officials.
“WHERE IS THE OUTCRY?
The President of the United States suggested that Iran should ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego — and the crowd applauded.
I really don’t want to post about politics on here. But when the most powerful man in the world seems to have no problem with the annihilation of millions of US citizens, I feel the need to speak up – especially when hundreds of our elected leaders are too gutless to do so.
Where is the outcry from Republicans? Cowards. Vote them out.”
Foley’s remarks represent his latest public criticism of Trump after his decision to distance himself from WWE in late 2025.
