Former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton won the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase at Saturday’s Money in the Bank premium live event (PLE), securing a guaranteed title shot. This victory came despite a concerning moment early in the match when she hit her head on the floor during a ladder dive. In the post-show comments, Stratton mistakenly claimed to be the first woman to win the briefcase twice.
However, this claim is inaccurate, as Carmella has won the briefcase two times, a fact highlighted by the commentary team during the match. In response to Stratton’s statement, Carmella took to her Twitter (X) account to share a graphic from the PLE that acknowledged her achievement.
Carmella wrote, “I think she hit her head a little too hard last night 🫨 but congrats on the win, babe!👏🏼👏🏼”
Carmella has been away from WWE since her contract expired in February 2025 and was not renewed. In September, she stated in an interview that she was retired but later retracted that statement the same day.
