AEW World Champion Samoa Joe says he came here with the spirit of apology and brings up bringing back the rankings so he can choose who to destroy. It all was going so well until Swerve Strickland & Hangman Page battled to a draw and he thought the committee would send them to the back of the line but instead they made his match just like Texas bigger and dumber. Joe says a crime has been committed against him but if he will hurt one or maybe both and make them limp out of the ring after the match. This prompts Strickland along with Prince Nana to make their way down to the ring.

Strickland talks about how this wasn’t supposed to be personal but the more Joe runs his mouth, the more he thinks this is becoming personal. Strickland talks about how nobody out hustles, outworks or outgrinds him and tells Joe to check his resume and put some respect on it. Swerve talks about how for 15 years he’s been grinding and just hoped someone would notice how hard he works and he’s proven that today. Strickland talks about going toe 2 toe with champions and legends and the same result every time is him standing with the crowd chanting Swerve’s House and at Revolution nothing changes, except for one difference the fact he’ll be holding the AEW World Title above his head.

Hangman Page comes out and says after last week’s match for people writing Dynamite reports he wasn’t mad. Page talks about how much better it would be just Joe and him but now it’s Strickland added and gets in his face talking about everything Strickland has done to him he doesn’t deserve one second of his time. Strickland doesn’t deserve 5 more minutes because he couldn’t get the job done and talks about him not deserving to be in the AEW World Title match. Joe tells them both to knock it off and as far as Revolution goes he’s whipping both their asses.

We go to the newest film from Women’s Champion Toni Storm where she asks what her tattoo reminds her of reminded her of a girl who was so desperate to make it that she had her petty. Storm talks about Purrazzo getting the old Toni Storm and so much more. Storm talks about how instead of changing the past, you kill it as we see there’s a new tattoo of a dagger going through the duck tattoo.

We cut to Renee Paquette is with Deonna Purrazzo asking for her reaction to the film they saw. Purrazzo says Storm is what her family calls a chiacchierone which means she talks too much and she will shut her up.

After the match Tony Schiavone joins them in the ring as Matthew talks about them being undefeated this year and calls themselves the top tag team in AEW. He says they have reason to believe that after beating the team with the quality of Top Flight they should be #1 contenders as they cut to the graphic showing much. Schiavone brings up Sting not being there as Matthew cuts off Schiavone and says Schiavone is disparaging them and gives him a $1,000 fine asking if he has a problem with that before knocking him down. They go to help him up calling it an accident but have him in the EVP Trigger pose before AEW World Tag Team Champion Darby Allin runs out to stop them. Allin brings up the original initiative of AEW but how Young Bucks ended up hiring all their friends instead. Allin said at least when he came in there was a good EVP and it wasn’t Kenny Omega prompting a Cody chant from the crowd.
