WWE Superstar Becky Lynch is continuing to make major waves outside the ring, landing a co-starring role in the upcoming FX workplace comedy pilot “Movers,” according to a report from Deadline.
Movers is an improvised comedy set in the hectic world of a moving crew. The series is created by Robert Ben Garant and Cathy Shim, best known for their work on Reno 911!. Both will also star in the project.
Lynch joins a diverse cast that includes Maz Jobrani (Friday After Next), Manny Montana (Ironheart), Darius Homayoun (Sex/Life), and stand-up comic Tanael “TJ” Joachim. The pilot is being developed by 20th Television.
This new project adds to Lynch’s growing film and TV portfolio. She’s set to appear in the upcoming Netflix comedy Happy Gilmore 2, debuting July 25, and is reportedly joining Alex Kurtzman’s Star Trek series on Paramount+. Her previous credits include Billions, stunt work on Vikings, and playing Cyndi Lauper on NBC’s Young Rock.
Lynch’s 2024 memoir Becky Lynch: The Man – Not Your Average Average Girl also became a New York Times bestseller, solidifying her as a crossover star.
Lynch is still making headlines in WWE. She returned at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez—only to later turn on Valkyria and capture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title.
She is currently set to defend her title against Valkyria and Bayley in a Triple Threat match at the Evolution PLE on July 13.
While it’s unclear how a series pickup for Movers might impact her full-time WWE schedule, one thing is certain: Becky Lynch is busier—and more unstoppable—than ever.
