Earlier this month, WWE announcer Corey Graves issued a public statement regarding his status with the company following his move back to the NXT brand. After missing a week of television, Graves returned to his commentary role on the January 21, 2025 episode of NXT.
During a recent episode of his podcast, Gravesโ broadcast partner, Booker T, shared his thoughts on Graves venting about the situation on social media.
โCertain things, I donโt know, shouldnโt be in the Twittersphere, just because I donโt think itโs their business, especially when it come to your jobs. Everybody want to put their lives on Twitter with their followers and everybody to be a part of their lives. I donโt know, I donโt get that part right there. For me, Iโm so glad Iโm so disconnected from that stage of life.โ
He continued, โWeโre not cool, not cool at all โ I didnโt like the tweet โฆ I didnโt tell him I didnโt like it, but Iโm sure there perhaps will come a time when I might say it โฆ he wasnโt talking to me, wasnโt talking about me, so therefore thatโs out of my pay rate you know what I mean? So I let the bosses handle that stuff. My thing is stay off Twitter, especially after youโve been drinking [laughs].โ
