WWE star and Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio appeared on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast with Oโ€™Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson to talk about a number of topics, including his WWE TV time in 2023 and how it was even more than Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

Mysterio said, โ€œI know, for a fact, I had more TV time than Cody that year because thereโ€™s no wayโ€ฆ I was on NXT constantly, and I did SmackDown.โ€

On his busy schedule that year:

โ€œBut the grind for the time was definitely real. Iโ€™d stay in Orlando [on] Wednesday, and then โ€” depending on if they needed me for TV โ€“ Iโ€™d fly out Thursday again, and that was constantly for, probably, a couple of months.โ€

On his appearance at SummerSlam 2005 as a kid:

โ€œGrowing up in the hard streets of San Diego. Itโ€™s no joke. I asked for a Mercedes, got a BMW. Rough. I had my own room, but across was my sister. I didnโ€™t even get my own upstairs space. It was hard. I had to do my own laundry. They made me do all of that. It was crazy. I didnโ€™t even get paid for it either. Iโ€™m pretty sure thatโ€™s illegal. Itโ€™s child labor. To make matters even worse, when I did do stuff in WWE like SummerSlam and I ended up getting paid for that, I never knew where the money went. I need to talk to her about that. I bought one bike and my mother said, โ€˜There goes your money.โ€™ I did three pay-per-views, how many weeks of TV, and youโ€™re telling me one bike and Iโ€™m done?โ€
