El Hijo del Vikingo, who has competed in All Elite Wrestling a number of times, took to his Instagram account several weeks ago and revealed that he underwent surgery last February 29th after he suffered a ruptured ligament and damaged meniscus.
AAA recently announced on Twitter (X) that Vikingo will have to vacate the AAA Mega Championship that he has held for 833 days due to the injury.
The promotion also announced that a new AAA Mega Champion will be crowned at their upcoming Triplemania XXXII Monterrey event.
