Earlier this year, WWE renamed and redesigned the World Tag Team Titles and Tag Team Championships.
On the June 24th episode of WWE Raw, The Miz and R-Truth won one of the sets of gold in the WWE Raw Tag Team Title/WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title Six-Pack Ladder before losing them to Finn Balor and JD McDonaugh.
Since then, Judgment Day has yet to defend their titles on television or at Premium Live Events. Instead, they defended them three times in July at house shows, winning two and losing by disqualification to The New Day.
On television, the Judgment Day faction has undergone changes. Balor also cheated Damain Priest out of the World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER at SummerSlam. Balor took to Twitter to announce that they had reached a 72-day milestone as champions.
He also mocked fans in true fashion for their outrage over the lack of title defenses.
