Kevin Nash On Logan Paul: “I Don’t Give A F**k What He Gets Paid”

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed the Vince McMahon documentary on his most recent “Kliq This” podcast. “Mr. McMahon” is now available to stream on Netflix.

Nash on whether the Montreal Screwjob would have been different if he and Scott Hall were still working for WWE at the time of the incident:

“No. Our allegiance would have been with Shawn. It was The Kliq. We would have had each other’s back. Scott and I would have had Shawn’s back. We got the heat from Bret’s wife anyway. She said, ‘Even though you weren’t there, we know you were’, and she had every reason to say that because even though we weren’t there, we were.”

‘I look at it Bret’s way as all the time he put into that company, coming all the way from Calgary, working that many days, that when you came to an agreement of doing the favor, like when I left, I told Vince I’ll do what favors he wanted. He said, ‘Warrior.’ I said, ‘No. I’m not doing him a favor.’ To me, he wasn’t one of the boys. I’ll put Mark (Undertaker) over from now until I leave, everywhere, and I did. I took a kick from Shawn at the house shows. I was a heel. It didn’t matter, but if I had the belt and I was going to leave and it just so happened that we had a pay per view in Detroit, I’m not too sure I would want to lose in my hometown. I would have done it.”

On his recent verbal war with Logan Paul:

My wife asked, ‘Would you ever go back (to WWE)? I said, ‘No. That’s a different part of my life. I’ll go back and see Paul (Levesque). If Paul needed me for something, I would do it. If they had a project or something like that I found entertaining or something I wanted to do.’ She said, ‘But not in the ring.’ I said, ‘F**k no.’ Then I laughed, and I said, ‘Babe, you know, I’m 65 right?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘You know that all that sh*t that Logan Paul said, his heel rebuttal?’ I think to myself, like I never really thought about it at the point that he actually took the time to disrobe, put in hair products and find the right light and setup and everything else. He didn’t do it in his car with a seat belt across his chest, and cut a scathing promo back at a 65 year old guy. I’m 65 years old. Dude, you’re telling me that because you can do my job better than me, motherfu**er, do you think when you’re 65 years old that somebody thinks you’re gonna come in and fight for the US title? Did you think this? Do you think that Logan Paul, when he’s 65 years old, will be thought of as somebody that might come down at SmackDown and have something to do with one of their talents? No, so to me it is like, how can I possibly be bitter? I threw some chum in the water. You hit it. I’m 65 and my point was made. I’m not retracting and I said it was from the boys. He takes it like I was saying it gutterly from my loins. I don’t give a f**k what he gets paid. It doesn’t take money out of my pocket.”
