Former WWE star Mandy Rose recently appeared on an episode of the Power Alphas podcast, where she talked about a number of topics including the issues she had in setting up a table in her match with Sonya Deville at WWE SummerSlam 2020.
Rose said, โPeople donโt realize, those tables are heavy.โ โThey are heavy, they are hard, youโre in the middle of the moment, youโre blown (up). That was the worst match Iโve had. [Sonya] and I both say that was the worst match. There were so many things going on in our life, it was very bad. A very bad match. I practiced that so many times, โI got this,โ and for some reason, I went the wrong way. I tried to lift it (like I did), and you just canโt. Then Iโm trying to kick it up, and I canโt get it up. Then itโs moving with me.โ
โThe ref was trying to help me so bad, โDo it this way.โ Then heโs telling me itโs getting so bad and itโs taking so long that heโs like, โForget it, fuck the table. Forget it.โ We werenโt even using it, we were teasing it. Itโs a whole thing where you tease and then fall into it, but we didnโt even have the spot of falling. Heโs like, โFuck it, we wonโt even tease it.โ He kept telling me, โB plan.โ โNope, I got this.โ It was so embarrassing. That was worse than me slipping at WrestleMania. Those are top two, but it was one of the most embarrassing moments of my career. People still haunt me with it. โMandy Rose vs. The Table, WrestleMania 38.’โ
