Mustafa Ali recently appeared as a guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet for an interview covering all things pro wrestling.
During the discussion, the pro wrestling star spoke about a potential return to WWE.
Featured below are some of the highlights.
On if he sees a path to WWE: “I think thereโs multiple paths, yeah. The thing is, thereโs good relations there. The thing with them moving to Netflix is very interesting because it just opens up โ I donโt know how much the show is gonna change as far as dynamic, as far as ratings, as far as what theyโre okay with.”
On how it is his responsibility to build himself into something that is profitable and easy to plug into the WWE system: “Business is so good for them, I do think there is a pathway back there. Thereโs good relations, thereโs good contact there. Even the release was like very nice, a lot of nice messages were sent. At the end of the day, itโs on me, right? If I built something thatโs profitable and something that they see, oh this plugs in. With wrestling, everything is right place, right time. Itโs gotta be right for them, itโs gotta be right for me, itโs gonna be at the right time, itโs gotta be at the right place. When one person is here โ If I want to go do this, it doesnโt fit. If they’re going a direction where thereโs no spot for me, it doesnโt fit. Itโs gotta be right place, right time. So hereโs the right place, right time.”
