Nic Nemeth is a “Wanted Man,” after not being in such high demand at the end of his long run in WWE.
The TNA World Champion spoke with The U.K. Daily Star this week, and during the interview, reflected on how his departure from WWE came about in late-2023.
โWWE was so great,โ he started. โI still had a year and a half left on my contract, and I said, โPlease.โ I told them, โIโm not doing anything here. Iโm just hanging out and doing cold five-minute matches.โโ
He continued, โI said, โI donโt know how much longer Iโm a believable world champion for any other company. I might have five more years, I might have two, I might have ten, I donโt know. But sitting here collecting a paycheck and working for five minutes a week is not helping WWE, and it sure as hell isnโt helping me.โ Luckily, they gave me the chance to get out of there because I still had time left on my contract. Being able to get out of that bubble was such a relief.โ
