There was a reason Michael Cole wasn’t at WWE Monday Night Raw this week.
And it wasn’t anything major.
PWInsider.com is reporting that the veteran WWE commentator, who was replaced by Kevin Patrick for the “Season Premiere” of the weekly three-hour WWE on USA Network program alongside Wade Barrett on Monday night, asked for the night off.
Cole had requested time off for this week, and his absence is unrelated to any illness or similar circumstances.
It’s interesting to note that this comes just weeks after Seth “Freakin'” Rollins was commending Cole on missing only three shows in over 26-years.
Michael Cole is scheduled to return at WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week on FOX.
