A major name from the world of Lucha Libre may be headed to WWE.
According to a new report from BodySlam.net’s Cassidy Haynes, Psycho Clown, one of the most iconic stars in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, is expected to sign with WWE once he wraps up his current obligations later this year.
Sources close to the situation have noted that Psycho Clown will no longer be accepting independent bookings beyond August 2025, fueling speculation that the masked star has agreed to terms with WWE. While the deal has not yet been officially confirmed by either party, the belief is that he will report to WWE once his final dates are completed.
A cornerstone of AAA for over a decade, Psycho Clown has carved out a legendary résumé. He is a former AAA Latin American Champion and was victorious in one of the most significant matches in the promotion’s history — the main event of Triplemanía XXV, where he defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in a high-stakes mask vs. mask match, cementing his legacy in Lucha Libre.
