WWE Hall of Famer โ€œThe Million Dollar Manโ€ Ted DiBiase recently appeared on an episode of his โ€œEverybodyโ€™s Got a Podโ€ podcast, where he discussed a number of topics including working for Eric Bischoff.

DiBiase said, โ€œI didnโ€™t know Eric Bischoff until I went there (WCW). I mean, you know, the guy whoโ€™s calling all the shots doesnโ€™t know no crap about wrestling. Bischoff didnโ€™t know crap about the wrestling business. And so, whereโ€™s he getting all his โ€” well, heโ€™s got to be listening to the guys, the wrestlers.โ€

On his WCW run:

โ€œI was grateful for a three-year contract, which was a sweet deal that โ€” you know. I said, โ€˜Iโ€™m gonna show up, and Iโ€™m gonna do what they tell me to do. And then when my three years are up, Iโ€™ll be gone.โ€™โ€

On why he was mentally checked out by the end of his WCW tenure:

โ€œItโ€™s like the inmates running the asylum. Thatโ€™s what the deal was, which made me even more detached. If Iโ€™d have been physically wrestling at this time, Iโ€™d have had a whole lot more to say and a lot more input in it. You know, I didnโ€™t know any of the background. I didnโ€™t know where they were going with all of this.โ€
